Python’s asyncio lets you write concurrent code using async/await syntax.

The Pattern

import asyncio

async def fetch(url):
    async with aiohttp.ClientSession() as session:
        async with session.get(url) as resp:
            return await resp.json()

Async shines for I/O-bound work: HTTP requests, database queries, file operations. CPU-bound work still needs multiprocessing.
