Kubernetes for Beginners

Kubernetes is a platform for running containerized workloads. Here are the concepts you actually need.

Pod

The smallest deployable unit. A pod wraps one or more containers.

Deployment

Declares desired state: “3 replicas of this pod”. Kubernetes reconciles reality to match.

Service

A stable network endpoint that load-balances across pods. Pods come and go; services persist.

Start with these three. Add Ingress, ConfigMaps, and Volumes as you need them.
